These License Terms govern the use of video content purchased from MTI Aerials. By purchasing or using our footage, you agree to the following terms.

1. License Types

Standard License

Ideal for personal and nonprofit projects.

Permitted Uses:

  • Personal portfolios and passion projects
  • School or student work
  • Non-commercial websites or presentations

You may:

  • Edit and publish in non-commercial settings
  • Post on unpaid social media channels
  • Use in internal presentations

You may NOT:

  • Use in monetised channels or advertisements
  • Resell, redistribute, or upload footage elsewhere
  • Use in client or commercial projects

Editorial License

Permitted Uses:

  • News segments or articles
  • Documentaries and investigative media
  • Travel, history, or culture blogs/vlogs with factual storytelling

You may:

  • Use in editorial-only contexts where footage adds informative value
  • Publish on media sites, YouTube, or broadcast platforms
  • Use without model or property releases (so long as footage is used truthfully)

You may NOT:

  • Use footage for advertising or brand promotion
  • Use in misleading, defamatory, or fictionalised contexts
  • Misrepresent the location, people, or events shown

⚠️ Important: Editorial licenses do not include rights for advertising, sponsorships, or brand promotion. No model or property releases are provided. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with applicable laws.

Commercial License

Required for any monetised, client-facing, or promotional use.

Permitted Uses:

  • Advertisements, promotional videos, and websites
  • Monetised YouTube channels or social content
  • Client projects and agency use
  • TV, streaming, or paid media campaigns

You may:

  • Use footage in unlimited commercial campaigns worldwide
  • Combine with other footage, branding, and graphics
  • Publish on paid platforms, streaming services, or sponsored channels

You may NOT:

  • Resell, redistribute, or offer footage as stock
  • Share or upload raw footage publicly
  • Use in content that promotes illegal activity, hate, violence, or misinformation

2. General Restrictions (All Licenses)

Regardless of license type, you may not:

  • Claim the footage as your own creation
  • Upload or resell footage on stock platforms (e.g., Shutterstock, Envato, Adobe Stock)
  • Use footage to promote violence, hate, discrimination, or misinformation
  • Use footage in unlawful, defamatory, or harmful content

3. License Scope

  • All licenses are worldwide and non-exclusive (unless otherwise agreed).
  • All licenses are perpetual. You may use the footage indefinitely in approved projects.
  • Licenses are non-transferable. Only the purchaser is granted rights to use the footage.

4. Ownership & Copyright

All footage remains the sole intellectual property of MTI Aerials. Licensing grants you usage rights under these terms; it does not transfer ownership.

5. Delivery Format

Licensed files are delivered digitally via a download link in .MP4 or .MOV format. Licensed versions are provided without watermarks.

6. License Termination

Violation of these terms will result in immediate license termination. MTI Aerials reserves the right to pursue legal remedies for unauthorised use.

7. Liability Disclaimer

MTI Aerials provides footage “as is.” We make no guarantees regarding suitability for your specific project. We are not liable for any damages, claims, or losses arising from use of our footage. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with applicable laws and third-party rights.

8. Extended & Exclusive Licenses

For company-wide use, broadcast syndication, or exclusive rights, please contact us directly for custom licensing options.
